Here is a post about a couple of things I have been reading. For school I have been reading, "A Diary of a Young Girl," which is about Anne Frank. I first thought it was going to be really boring, but now I'm almost halfway through it, and I think it is one of my favorites.
I'm also doing a Nancy Drew reading challenge, comment and ask about it and I'll tell you more, and I'm on the fourth book, "Mystery at Lilac Inn." So far I haven't got tired of them and hopefully I won't.
I have also been reading a lot of Karen Kingsbury's novels. They are very touching and inspiring Christian books. Karen Kingsbury is one of my favorite Christian authors!
For school I have also been reading poems and and short stories out of a book called, "Realms of Gold." These are two other books that I have been reading that have some great poems in it. They are called, "101 Great American Poems" and "100 Best-Loved Poems."
I hope this post has given you a few ideas to read if you want books about history and poems.

Catching Fire by Suzanne Collins
Title: Catching Fire
Author: Suzanne Collins
Stars: 4
Review: I read the first book of this series, The Hunger Games, a while ago and really liked it. My mom talked me into reading this series and I'm glad she did because The Hunger Games series is great to read! Catching Fire I think probably better then the first one because there is a little bit more romance and action. It sure does leave a big cliff hanger, though.
